After a delicious meal at Mc Donald's and a bit of shopping at Olympian City 2, we headed over to Lok Sin Tong Hoi Wang Road Nursing Home. This nursing home consisted of 123 elderly male and females. They are helped by nurses, physiotherapists and a few doctors. The elderly are taken care of by loving and humble people which are full of joy and always eager to take help the elderly with their needs. They live in a welcoming, sanitary home which consists of three floors.
25 Cadets from Zimbabwe, Hong Kong and Singapore all put in a helping hand to make the elderly happy. We sang for them, taught them our home language and made them flowers. The greatest thing we did was make them smile :). It was a humbling experience and we all made unforgettable memories. The elderly were more than happy when we left and we all took something with us that we reflected upon.
